This digital map is designed to give you a virtual tour in Al-Alfie Street and the fabric of its historic buildings.
The facades are designed from stone. The stone was treated with paint material to enhance its durability and attractiveness. The windows are made of iron and behind it is a layer of glass, and there is a frame of red brick in the Cairo Palace cinema building. Durable aluminum windows also add a modern imprint to the Swedish building.
The pedestrian part of the street is decorated with printed concrete, providing a unique and visually attractive surface for pedestrians. The sides are intertwined with black basalt, adding a touch of elegance and contrast to the overall design. Black metal lampposts were strategically placed along the pedestrian section. Metal and concrete basins bearing trees and roses, were also integrated into the design. Resulting from this combination of materials, the walkway is not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional and safe for pedestrians.
